We've been teaching improv in NW Indiana since 2010 and hundreds of people have found out just how much fun improv is through our classes and shows.
Our teachers have years of experience with training in improv, acting and writing from The Second City, IO, and beyond, studying with some of the best improv teachers around. Skilled in short and long form, The harold and other influences throughout their careers, our teachers are dedicated to your education and the pursuit of fun.

Learning the basics of Improv is valuable in any career, from the world of sales to the comedy stage. Becoming more confident in front of groups, learn to think on your feet and develop a more humorous outlook on life, improvisation can help you be better at whatever you do.
Tuition is $175 per class. Our classes are for students age 18-years old and up.
All of our classes are held inside East Wind Studios located at 101 Second St. Chesterton IN 46304 (purple door)
IMPROV 101 – THE BASICS OF IMPROVISATION
Sundays Oct 28-Dec 9 4-6pm (no classes week of Thanksgiving)
Improv 101: In these 6 week, 2 hour classes, you’ll learn the basic foundations of improvisation; short form and long form , trusting yourself and others, improving your communications and listening skills, supporting each other as a team, and the YES And.... philosophy.
We’ll cover the all of the basics in this class through agreement, cooperation and a fun, positive environment.
Whether your goal is to become an actor or comedian, a better communicator, co-worker or leader, Improv 101 will help you become a better you and it will be the most fun you’ve ever had in a class!
IMPROV 201 – Intermediate Improvisation
Sundays Jan 20-Feb 24, 2019 4-6pm
This class takes what you've learned in Improv 101 and goes into more depth. You'll learn more challenging improv games, work on two- and three-person scenes, beats, character and point of view, teamwork, support and shows.
It is just as much fun as 101. Keep the fun going.
Improv 101 is Prerequisite for Improv or other studies in improv could substitute.
